Apprenticeship Programme

Our Apprenticeship programme follows a national framework developed with employers. This ensures you obtain the skills and knowledge that are recognised by them and allows you to develop transferable skills within your chosen occupational area.

Training and assessment will be carried out in the workplace and will include attendance at Leek College on day release.

The Customer Service Apprenticeship includes:

  • Application of Number and Communication
  • Underpinning knowledge of theory within a set of mandatory units and a vast array of optional units tailored to meet your business requirements. These may include units such as impression and image, face to face liaison, telephone contact, handling problems, internal customer management or strategic partnering.
  • Practical application in your vocational environment

Career Prospects

Customer Service is a key part of any job. Therefore, this Apprenticeship will provide you with the skills and knowledge to excel in any role, working your way up from Administrator, Supervisor and Manager to Director level. Level 2 roles could include receptionist, retail assistant or call centre staff. Level 3 allows progression to supervisory responsibilities, greater liaison with service partners and an insight into strategic development.

Salary

Negotiable with the employer and is based on Government guidelines

Up to 2 years

Qualification

Key Skills, Technical Certificate and NVQ Levels 2 and 3.
