Apprenticeship Programme
Our Apprenticeship programme follows a national framework developed with employers. This ensures you obtain the skills and knowledge that are recognised by them and allows you to develop transferable skills within your chosen occupational area.
Training and assessment will be carried out in the workplace and may include attending Leek College on day release.
The Hairdressing Apprenticeship includes:
- Application of Number and Communication
- Underpinning knowledge of theory delivered during day release in the Bodyworks Salon
- Practical application in your vocational environment and the
- Opportunity to work on ‘real clients’ in the Bodyworks Salon
Career Prospects
Hairdressing is a growing industry with new styles and techniques being developed continuously. So, there is always something new to learn. Once qualified your career prospects are endless. You could become a stylist in a salon, a freelance hairdresser or maybe work in television, theatre or on a cruise liner.
