• Laura Bray - ICT Apprentice

  Laura, 22, has combined study as an IT Apprentice with Skillsbase while holding down a highly responsible position as Lead IT Technician at Alleyne’s High School, Stone. The job is an ideal platform for her practical and people skills.

  She has achieved NVQ Level 3 in IT and will shortly complete her Foundation Degree in Computing. She is committed to progressing her studies to degree level while also taking vendor qualifications, e.g. Microsoft and Cisco, and keeping her skills in line with latest developments.

  Laura Bray has always liked fixing things, so she jumped at the chance of combining her practical approach to life with a learning programme by becoming an Apprentice ICT technician at Thomas Alleyne’s High School, Uttoxeter in 2007. In November 2009 she moved to the more senior position of Lead IT Technician at the 850-pupil Alleyne’s School, Stone.
